2016 Planning

I've tried planning posts before and not had much success. But I'm always game to have another go, especially when it's related to sewing ☺️. I've had a quick look at my sewing for 2015 and was pleasantly surprised to discover that I sewed 14 projects and knitted a couple too. So I know that about 12 is achievable. So here's my planned list for 2016.Sewaholic Gabriola skirt DONE!

• A Colette Phoebe dress (there a sewalong happening) - I might make two, depending on the fit of the first one
• An off-white shirt (McCalls 6711) DONE!
• Another go at New Look 6407 - I want to change up the neckline a bit and practice my felled seams DONE!
• Revisit McCalls 8405 (sleeveless, fitted shirt with princess seams). The last time I made this I was childless
• Pussy bow shirt using georgette or crepe de chine WIP
• A slip
• A Sewaholic Minoru
• Burda crossover top (a magazine make)

That's nine (or ten if I make two Phoebes). So there's capacity for more. I've had a look at my UFOs - there's only four (I was sure there were more... still looking...). Sewing is fun for me so I refuse to force myself into something I'm not going to enjoy. All my UFOs have stopped for a reason - mostly to do with pattern/construction complexity. But I would like to complete at least one of them. I've listed them all. And I've blogged about none of them 😉

• Pink denim bikers jacket Kwik Sew 3764 (started July 2014 - argh! Where did that time go?)
• Burda 8810 jacket (is there a theme building here?)
• Bombshell dress (my first Craftsy course)
• Blue ponte jacket (Simplicity 8421)
